DIY HACK: DRYWALL DUST

Want to see a fantastic trick? This is for all those times when you just want to drill a hole to hang something, but it also happens to be right above your bed, or couch, or anything else you don’t want to move but also don’t want to get covered in drywall dust.

Get some painter’s tape, the thicker the better, and tear some off. Fold it hotdog-wise (you know what I’m talking about) about a third of the way over, and place the smaller section on the wall, under the spot that you want to drill a hole. Then, continue about your business drilling your hole in the wall. Once you’re done, use two hands to carefully remove the tape from the wall, fold it, and take it to a trash can.

I learned this lesson not too long ago and I love it! So, I had to share. Love, Shauna
